Biography: My experience and knowledge were developed while working first handedly with multiple Oba Oriateses, highly recognized elder oloshas in Florida and Cuba, and the influence of babalawo’s / oluawos that have generously confided and shared with me valuable information concerning the Osha rules. The main source of what I have been taught has been under the tutelage of my mentor Oba Oriate Lazaro Pedro Alfaro. He is also affectionately known as “Perico or Alfaro”. Alfaro is the one who has vested the most time and energy by sharing his knowledge in my religious development. Carlos Breso Jr. is another oriate who has been extremely generous in sharing his knowledge with me. Since the begining of my course of discipline, I continued to learn, mold and develop my own style. This allows me to always perform within the guidelines, rules and regulations of the Lukumi religion. This has allowed me to work and conduct myself in an extremely precise manner, with a serious and solid ethic. I take into account the responsibility entrusted to me by the people with whom I work, particularly since their future can be at risk. I am proud to state that what sets me apart, is the fact that I am humble and respectful in the manner in which I conduct myself and treat others. Among my many professional attributes, I am a very punctual person who is extremely conscious and respectful of the client’s time. I will always maintain a superior standard of ethics towards our religion. I do not tolerate the abuse or exploitation of others. |
